International presence in Madrid.

Puericultura Madrid, the International Childcare Products Trade Show organised by IFEMA, has rounded off its third edition with a total of 7,687 visitors (1.32% more than in 2014) and a positive overall appraisal in terms of trade by the businesses that took part.

These satisfactory results add to the success of the show's two previous editions, and reinstate Puericultura Madrid's position at the fore of the Iberian Peninsula's specialised childcare market and as an excellent professional window for displaying the latest novelties and breakthroughs in the world of baby products.

Worthy of particular note was the high level of qualification and professionalism of attendants at Puericultura Madrid 2015. Among them, 73% were potential buyers, 13% stakeholders, 7% sales agents and 7% manufacturers and importers.

International visitors to this edition of the trade show came from 32 different countries, in contrast with the 22 nationalities from the previous year. This rise in the number of countries who sent representatives to the show is largely attributable to potential buyers, most of whom had taken part in the show's buyers programme, organised in conjunction with Asepri.

Foreign visitors to the last edition came from Andorra, Algeria, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Greece, Equatorial Guinea, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Libya, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, the UK, Uruguay and the USA.
More than 470 brands and businesses

Among the companies and brands attending the third edition of this event, which is considered a key date on Spain's childcare calendar, important names were present, such as Jané, Cybex, Chicco, Dorel, Bébécar, Béaba, Bebé Due, Casualplay, Concord, Micuna, Miniland, Saro Classic, Tuc Tuc, Silver Cross, Arrue, Babyjörn, Be Cool, Bébé Confort, Joie, Miniland, Tigex, Tuc Tuc, BonjourBebe, Cam il Mondo del Bambino, Chocolat Baby, Baby Llacer, El Bebé Aventurero, Matias Massó, Moltó y Cia, Naf Naf-tanuki, Nûby, Peg Perego-Tavitoys and Recaro, to name a few.

Puericultura Madrid 2015 included a full programme of activities that took place alongside the trade fair, which provided content of great interest for the sector. The different activities aimed at exhibitors and visitors were held in the Business&Fun Area, in the same hall as the trade fair, and were free for anyone with a ticket to the fair.

The next edition of Puericultura Madrid will be held from 6 to 9 October 2016 at Feria de Madrid.
