Under the slogan ‘Protecting What Matters Most’ and with new colours and design elements, Britax Römer is presenting a new image at Kind + Jugend. The innovations include the lightweight ‘Baby-Safe 5Z’ infant carrier, for babies measuring between 40 and 85 cm, and the rotating ‘Dualfix M Plus’ follow-on seat. Like most of the child seats from Britax Römer, the ‘Baby-Safe 5Z’ and the new ‘Adventure Plus’ and ‘Discovery Plus’ were developed and are manufactured in Germany.

Further sustainability projects

It is now a year since Britax Römer launched its sustainable ‘Green Sense’ product range. Only 100% recycled polyester is used in the production of the fabric covers for the child seats and buggies in this range. Now the collection, previously available in two designs, is getting another sustainable fabric covering. In its latest sustainability project, Britax Römer will be bringing to market the first climate-neutral child seat in October. And maybe the manufacturer can look forward to recognition at this year’s Innovation Award, as the ‘Kidfix i-size’ car seat, launched in Spring 2021 for children of between 100 and 150 cm in height, has been nominated in the ‘World of Sustainability Kids’ category. According to internal safety tests by Britax Römer, it is the safest model so far from the ‘Kidfix’ range.
