As always, the beads are fused together not through ironing, but through spraying with water. © Craze

What’s up doc? – The educational memory game “At the Doctor’s” from Haba’s “My Very First Games” series prepares children for a visit to the doctor’s through play. There’s never a dull moment at Dr. Liebherz’s surgery: Linus has come for his immunisation, Greta has had an accident and Emma has a cough. The players need to have a good memory as they have to treat the patients themselves. © Haba

Hopping mad! – Frogs take centre stage in the wooden game “Saltino”. First, they are sorted into the holes of the lily pond by shape and colour, then they jump around the playroom when the players press the colour tabs. The new product from Selecta is designed for infants over 12 months. © Selecta

For little musicians – Be it a caterpillar, apple or tree, the attractively shaped rattles, shakers and bells from Gewa Music encourage even the youngest of children to make music. The products come in percussion sets with fitting names such as “Summer Friends”, “Garden Fruit” and “Nature Lovers” and have a pleasant and agreeable sound. © Gewa Music

Mind the gap! – Little railway enthusiasts from three months will laugh and cheer when HCM Kinzel brings Oball’s “Chug-O-Choo” to town. The colourful toy train chimes with every chug. The intriguing textures on the carriages are easy for little hands to grasp, providing a variety of tactile experiences. The carriages can be removed. © HCM Kinzel
