For the first time, submissions will be initially checked against the regulations of the Green New Deal (focus on EPR & Green Claims Directive). A report will provide participants with information on the conformity of their project with future guidelines and necessary measures. Participants who submit by September, 16th. will receive interim feedback with optimization tips and can optimize their submission. The Green Olympics stand for the pursuit of excellence and cooperation in the development of a circular product & service system. Online training and networking events are offered to provide support.

The final will take place in March 2025 at various embassies in Berlin. In a three-stage process, the suitability of the products is first checked, then the finalists are selected and finally the winning projects are chosen by a public vote and the international jury. Since 2013, the Green Product Awards have honored products and services that stand out for their sustainability, design and impact. The award is organized by the Green Future Club, which is dedicated to networking and training stakeholders.
