Organiser Pitti Immagine draws a first positive balance after the B2B platform Pitti Bimbo ended on 24 June 2022 in Florence. A total of 211 collections were presented in the Fortezza da Basso, an enormous increase compared to around 70 collections in 2021. After three days of the fair, the organisers counted a total of 3000 visitors. Among them were 2100 buyers, of which 40 % were foreign visitors. In addition, the fair organisers registered almost 200 journalists, influencers and other media professionals.

The foreign markets most present at the fair were Turkey, the UK, Spain, Belgium, Poland, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, France, the USA, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia and Russia.

Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, said he received a lot of positive feedback from the participants. Many exhibitors were positively surprised by the international participation, the number of visitors and the quality of the buyers. "After holding two editions together with Pitti Uomo, Pitti Bimbo has now returned with its own date to confirm its role in the junior fashion market. We are very confident about the development of the next editions," says Napoleone.
