To coincide with the release of the Disney Pixar feature film “Upside Down” on 1 October 2015, Tomy is launching a toy range based around the 3D animation.
The cuddly toys carrying memory orbs, the “Headquarters” play set is in the background.
When the memory orb is in the “Emotion Control Console”, the cuddly toy lights up.
The main protagonist Riley is going through a difficult time in her life. The feelings of Fear, Anger, Disgust, Joy and Worry star as supporting characters, helping her to deal with the chaos that surrounds her.
Accordingly, toymaker Tomy has created the five emotions as cuddly toys. The 35 cm creatures are fitted with sound functions. By pressing the button, kids can listen to sounds associated with the movie. Bing Bong, Riley’s imaginary friend, appears as a cuddly companion, likewise, with sound effects from the film.
The “Headquarters” and the “Emotion Control Console” play sets complement the range, and include the memory orbs from the film. Additional collectibles and door signs are in the pipeline. The toys are all suitable for children aged three years and over.
