European industry meeting brings together children’s fashion, baby care & toys

With new show dates, Babykid Spain + FIMI is reinforcing its claim as a key European industry meeting point for the “Children’s Universe”. From 20 to 22 January 2027, the trade fair – co-organised by Feria Valencia and ASEPRI – will welcome visitors to Valencia, once again focusing on an early start to the year for ordering, networking and international business development.

In January 2027, Valencia will once again become an international hotspot for children’s fashion and baby and children’s products. By positioning the event at the beginning of the year, the fair aims – according to the organisers – to provide a reliable planning platform for manufacturers, distributors and buyers, precisely at a time when collections and new launches are crucial in the children’s sector.

The event describes itself as the only professional trade event in Europe that brings together children’s fashion, puericulture/baby care and babycare products, footwear, accessories, toys and related ranges within a single trade fair format. The co-organisation model involving Feria Valencia and ASEPRI (Spanish Association of Products for Infancy) underscores this sector focus: a shared meeting point that connects international brands and purchasing decision-makers within a compact time window.

Momentum is also reflected in the latest edition: in January 2026, the event featured 730 exhibiting brands, including 138 in fashion, 341 in babycare/puericulture, 191 in toys and 66 in footwear, according to the organisers. A total of 4,800 trade visitors were recorded, 75% from the national market and 25% international, travelling from 55 countries.

For 2027, Babykid Spain + FIMI is once again announcing a wide-ranging programme – including runways/shows for children’s fashion and babycare, networking areas, and activities aimed specifically at buyers, key influencers and the media. The event is also supported by ICEX and IVACE+i; listed collaborators include ICEX, Generalitat Valenciana and IVACE Internacional.
