Baby monitoring technology with AI
For its baby monitor, Nanit has combined intuitive hardware with an app to create a personalised one-app solution for families.

It promises more safety, confidence and unforgettable moments. The US manufacturer’s system is now also available here in Germany with local distribution and German-speaking support. At its heart are the ‘Nanit Pro Baby Monitor’ and the app, giving an all-round overview of the baby’s wellbeing. For monitoring purposes, Nanit uses a sensor-free breathing band with its own AI to observe the baby’s breathing motion. With the aid of patterns on the band, the camera spots the smallest movements, calculates breaths per minute and reports daily, weekly and monthly averages. If no movement is detected for 20 seconds, the system initiates an alarm both on the camera and on the connected mobile device.
