Compared to the summer of 2022, this season has started very well with a 40% increase in attendance, more than 4,800 entries and a presence from 65 different countries. The 30th edition of Playtime Paris was marked by the return of American, Canadian and Asian buyers, with Europe remaining the most represented geographical region. "We saw a remarkable evolution in the distribution of visitors from Europe, with the great return of Italian buyers in our top 8 list of European visitors and many buyers from Spain, Switzerland, England and Germany," the official press release also states. More than 5,100 brands, retailers and journalists were present to discover the new collections for fall and winter 2023 for three days at Parc Floral de Paris.

Diverse mix of brands

With 338 brands, 70% of which were fashion (ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, shoes) and 30% lifestyle (decoration, stationery, toys, everyday items), and a selection of parent labels, each brand contributed to the dynamism of the show with its collections and elaborately decorated stands. 109 brands exhibited for the first time at Playtime Paris. Some of them were presented in the special newcomer areas "New Now", "Singular" and the "First Timers Trend Space". The return of brands such as Bobo Choses, Repose AMS, Liewood and many others showed the interest in physical trade shows and the synergies of Playtime.
