Britax: Safe on the road
Britax Römer is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a manufacturer of car seats. The German company, based in Ulm, is also launching a new and exciting product:
The BABY-SAFE i-SIZE provides babies with enhanced protection as the infant seat complies with the new EU standard ECE R129 (i-Size).
The youngest member of the GO family, the Britax GO BIG, provides newborns with a completely flat recline position.
Infants can travel in a rearward-facing position in the BABY-SAFE i-SIZE from birth (with a newborn insert) up to 15 months (height 83cm).
Parents can select one of four recline settings; whenever the headrest is moved, the recline position and shoulder pads change automatically. Suitable bases include either the new BABY-SAFE i-SIZE FLEX BASE, which adapts to the slant of the vehicle seat, or the BABY-SAFE i-SIZE BASE.
In addition, Britax has established the GO stroller series. The Britax GO BIG scores high in the popularity stakes with its improved seat unit, an adjustable backrest and footrest, a height-adjustable harness and a large basket. Its flat recline position makes the stroller extremely comfortable whilst large front wheels, foam-filled, no-puncture rubber tyres and central suspension enhance comfort.
